On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, the Nebraska Agri-Business Association, as part of the Nebraska Agri-Business Exposition, held a student career event for nearly 130 students from various high schools and colleges. The students were given information about the fertilizer and ag-chemical industry and how there is such a need for fresh new minds. Educating these students before they have decided their career path gives us a chance to tell them about exciting ways to be a part of this industry.
Students were escorted by industry professionals through the trade show to see equipment and speak with industry suppliers and learn about different products and equipment. Presentations were also given by Mat Habrock, Location Manager at Landmark Implement in Hastings, NE and Dawn Caldwell, Head of Gov’t Affairs with Aurora Cooperative in Aurora, NE.
